RIMT wins Best Design Award in National round of Indo US Robo League held at IIT, Mumbai

A team of five students from RIMT Institutes, Mandi Gobindgarh participated in the National round of Indo US Robo League held at IIT, Mumbai. This round consisted of three main events. The 4th semester students Jaspreet Singh (B.Tech ME), Akash Joshi (B.Tech IT), Deepak Arora (B.Tech ME), Dhananjay Kumar Jha (B.Tech EE), Ayush Sharma (B.Tech ECE) participated in the Robotic Arm competition. They made a Touch pad controlled, five degree of freedom high tech Robotic Arm for which they were awarded as the Best Designed Robot and were honored with Gold Medals. Approximately, 200 Zonal winner teams from over 125 engineering colleges across India participated in this National round. Jaspreet Singh & Deepak Arora designed the innovative award winning mechanical structure of robot, Ayush Sharma & Dhananjay Kumar Jha created the electronic circuitry of the robot and Akash Joshi programmed the robot. This team of five students was felicitated at the college campus by Mr. Vijayant Bansal, Vice Chairman, RIMT Institutes and Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Director, RIMT Engineering Campus.
